Neuropsychology allows us to quantify the extent to which the brain has been damaged, in a manner distinct from imaging or more general psychological assessment. Moreover, neuropsychologists have the capacity to make inferences about what may be at the root of an individual's cognitive or behavioral changes - something of a "detective" in the world of psychology.
One achievement you're proud of?
As one of the first graduate students in my advisor's lab, I am proud to have personally developed collaborations with and published alongside researchers from a variety of contexts, including biomedical centers, hospitals, athletic departments and other universities.
When not working...
When not working, I am an avid runner and completed my first marathon in January 2018. I also like to play the guitar, travel and eat delicious Cajun cuisine.
